Friends of the Musik-Akademie Basel (Foerderverein) support projects that cannot be funded through the MAB budget.

Founded in 1983, the "Foerderverein" of the Musik-Akademie Basel has some 500 members from the worlds of culture, industry and politics, as well as private individuals. All contributions go directly and exclusively to these particular projects.

The annual report of the "Foerderverein" contains details of the projects that currently receive funding from the association.
