Master Concerts Institut Jazz 2026

From 16 to 31 August 2026, Master’s students from the Institut Jazz at the Basel Academy of Music FHNW will present their final projects at the Jazzcampus. Across more than twenty concerts and projects, they will showcase the artistic work developed during their studies, ranging from a solo project and intimate trio settings to large ensembles, interdisciplinary formats and a sound installation.

The Master Concerts reflect the stylistic and cultural diversity of the Institut Jazz. Original compositions, innovative concepts and international line-ups shape the programme, offering an insight into the individual artistic voices of the graduating students.

The Master Concerts are open to the public and offer an opportunity to experience the next generation of jazz musicians in a professional concert setting.
