Wohlthat Martina

Joined the library team in 2008. Her main responsibilities are rare books and the Academy of Music archives. The commemorative publication «Tonkunst macht Schule. 150 Jahre Musik-Akademie Basel» was issued in 2017, «Notenlese. Musikalische Aufführungspraxis des 19. und frühen 20. Jahrhunderts» in 2013.
Between 2006 and 2008 studied for a postgraduate diploma in paper curating (University Professional in Rare Book Librarianship) at the University of Basel. Martina has also worked as a journalist for the Basler Zeitung, Swiss Radio DRS and the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. She holds a Master’s in Musicology and German Language and Literature from the University of Hamburg.
