Music Research

«Music research» is a compulsory block module in all BA degree programmes.
At the end of the module, students should be able to:

• clearly understand the textual foundations of their own musical performance;
• ascertain the current state of knowledge on a given work, instrumental techniques, and performance practices;
• cite sources correctly in their academic writing;
• find information on issues relating to other fields that are pertinent to musical performance (interdisciplinary work).
